A Comet Movie Date in February

Love, we always dream about falling in love and finding the love of our lives. But then sometimes, we make up in our minds that vision of someone crossing our paths and someone who will take our breath away.

But what if love is simply all a dream, only made up in our minds? The new film Comet depicts “a cosmic love” between two young people crossing paths as Golden Globe nominee Emmy Rossum (“The Day After Tomorrow,” “The Phantom of the Opera,” “Mystic River”) and Justin Long (“Live Free or Die Hard,” “He’s Just Not That Into You”) both plays the read characters.

The story begins at a cemetery ,of all the random places, as Kimberly (Rossum) and Dell (Long) met each other while watching a meteor shower. Though both are opposites as Kimberly is this brilliant and beautiful young lady while Dell is nerdy and a pessimist.

With the quirky lines of Rossum “I don’t like your pessimism as much as I usually mind pessimism” and Long’s point of view about love as he mutters “I never thought love was real. Now I think life isn’t real without it” it very seems like a promising film to watch this February.

For six years, their love story unfolds before our eyes. Their first encounter; a wedding in Paris; a break up prior to moving to New York and reconnecting during a train ride n California–all the romance and travelling makes this movie appealing.

“The universal theme and inventive storytelling in ‘Comet’ have us believing that audiences will really connect with the film,” said Content Media President of Film Jamie Carmichael. “We were drawn in immediately and are happy.”

Content Media introduced and screened the film at the 2014 American Film Market (AFM) last November while locally it is released by Solar Pictures, among other films. COMET opens in cinemas nationwide on February 25, 2014.
