Malaysia: Citizen Watches’ “Time Is Light” Art Installation

citizenCitizen Watches’ Time Is Light Pop-Up Art Installation was launched at the grand opening of Isetan The Japan Store in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The brand celebrated the unveiling of the limited edition timepieces for Citizen Eco-Drive One and Citizen L Ambiluna.

The Time is Light art installation is a collaboration of the watch maker with the famous Japanese architects Tsuyoshi Tane and Yutaka Endo. It was an extension of the Frozen Time concepts which the brand has been exhibiting in Baselworld since 2013.

“Time is Light. Without light, there would be no time. Time is Light is a manifestation of Light’s return to Time,” said Tane, who has a long time collaboration with Citizen. Meanwhile, it’s the first time for Endo from Luftzug to provide technical expertise of music and digital design.
