Dusit International opens The Beach Club at Lubi Plantation Island

Davao has a new beach destination as Dusit International launched The Beach Club at the Lubi Plantation Island. The 36-hectare leisure township is set in the midst of a former coconut plantation. The Beach Club is an upscale island destination set amidst unspoiled reef, coral gardens, exotic marine life and lush tropical fauna. Travelers can easily take a boat from the mainland to visit Dusit’s family-friendly retreat.

Dine at the Tarictic Grill & Snack Bar which serves up barbecue dishes and has a private beach stretching 50 metres. Visitors go snorkeling and diving around the island. It also features a large swimming pool, a children’s play area and an events hall.

Owned by Torre Lorenzo Development Corporation, The Beach Club at Lubi Plantation Island, marks the first stage of a three-pronged project. The project also includes two hotels – dusitD2 Davao and Dusit Thani Residence Davao – will be located in the heart of Davao City’s new central business district, Lanang.

The dusitD2 Davao hotel is slated to open in February 2019. It has 120 guest rooms and suites designed in a contemporary, vibrant style. It boasts a lush, landscaped courtyard featuring a lap pool, a wading pool, a children’s pool and deck areas for relaxation.

Guests can dine at an international restaurant, lounge areas and a lobby set within a striking, glass-enclosed pavilion. They can also relax at the Namm spa, use the state-of-the-art gym, use four meeting rooms and two large ballrooms accommodating up to 1,000 guests. Dusit’s signature Benjarong Thai restaurant is expected to open in mid-2019.

Meanwhile, the Dusit Thani Residence Davao hotel is slated to open in April 2019. The hotel will comprise 178 studios and suites.
